Meeting people via Jenga...

  • Listening To Say Anything-Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too.
That is my new preferred method of greeting someone.

Quite a bit has happened in the past week or so. Sunday I went to Tom's grad party. There was some bocce ball, four-square, and pain pong, which is like ping pong, except painful. Oh, and Tom gave me this Peavy bass that he found in an abandoned building and restrung backwards for his brother, but his brother never really played it. Score.

Monday I had work, but I left a couple of hours early because my mother and I had to drive down to Long Island for my orientation. The traffic down was ridiculously not bad, it only took us five hours to get down there. Pretty fucking amazing. Yeah, ate, went to Borders, and hung around the motel room. Tuesday I had to get up obnoxiously early, we went to a diner and I had a waffle! It was a glorious waffle, just thought you all would like to know. Then there was that whole orientation thing, and it was relatively pointless. They tried to teach us the fight song and do retarded get to know each other activities. Although, that Jenga was pretty fun. Luckily, I was at a table with people who mocked the activities as much as I did. They were pretty cool. I made my schedule, that was  fun, let me tell you. I'm taking: Writing 102, Women's Studies 102, Stats 102, Astronomy 101, and News Literacy 101. Yup, aside from the stats thing, it's not too bad. After orientation, we drove back home and got back quite late.

Wednesday and Thursday I didn't do much of anything, actually the same goes for Friday. God, I lead a fucking interesting life.

Saturday and Sunday were grad parties for Speckie and Eva C. respectively. Both were incredibly entertaining, although apparently god doesn't like Eva too much because he released his rainy wrath upon that party.

And today is fucking hot. And church-y people are creepy.
